Pat was born Sept. 4, 1946, to the late George and Laurerda “LaLa” (nee Collien) Lechner.  She was a graduate of Mayville High School and went on to earn her B.A. in education from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.  While in college, she was a member of the sorority Gamma Phi Beta. Following her graduation, Pat became a physical education teacher in Oakfield.  On Dec. 28, 1968, Pat was united in marriage to Mike Bonnett at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville.  They later became members of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, also in Mayville.  Pat was very active in her church where she was a member of the Altar Guild and Dorcas Society and taught Sunday school for a number of years.  She volunteered at St. John’s Lutheran School with her children and was active in the PTL.  Pat was a very devoted mother.  She enjoyed gardening, crafts and sewing.

Those Pat leaves behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Mike; two daughters, Kristen (Tony) Larremore of Trussville, Alabama, and Heather (John) Warnecke of Jackson; four grandchildren, Hannah, Arabella, and Tessa Larremore all of Trussville, Alabama, and Brayden Warnecke of Jackson; a sister, Sharon Blank of West Bend; two brothers, George (Barbara) Lechner of Bloomington, Indiana, and Douglas (Rita) Lechner of Fort Meyers, Florida; a sister-in-law, Bonnie (Jeff) Juedes of Hilbert; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a sister in childhood, Sandra; her parents-in-law, Jelleff and Orabella Bonnett; and a brother-in-law, Michael Blank.

A funeral service in remembrance of Pat will be held Wednesday, July 25, at 11 a.m., at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 450 Bridge St., Mayville.  The Rev. Bruce Zagel will officiate, and burial will follow in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Mayville.  The family will greet relatives and friends at the church Tuesday, July 24, from 4 until 7 p.m. and again Wednesday, July 25, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
