Sheryl Rae Gering
(August 28, 1946 - October 20, 2013)

Sheryl Rae Gering, age 67, of 7373 Hwy 60 E, Gold Canyon, AZ, and formerly of Mayville, WI, passed away on October 20, 2013, at Apache Junction, AZ.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14th at 2:00 p.m. at Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, with the Deacon Willis Heideman officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14th from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sheryl was born the daughter of Oris "Bud" & Virginia (Cose) Zwieg on August 28, 1946 in Hustisford, WI.  She was a graduate of Mayville High School.  She was united in marriage to Erwin "Erv" L. Gering on October 2, 1965, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mayville.  She was employed as an Administrative Assistant at Schellpfeffer Law Office and the Mayville Clinic.  Along with her husband, Erv they owned and operated Erv's Never Inn in Kekoskee, WI.

Sheryl was a member of the Dodge County Tavern League, the American Legion Auxiliary, and various other Mayville Youth Sports Organizations.  She enjoyed various crafts and especially spending time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed playing card games with her family, especially cribbage games with her husband Erv. Sheryl was an avid Packer football fan & Wisconsin Badger football fan.  Sheryl will be missed by many relatives & friends whom have had the pleasure of spending time and laughter with her.  She enjoyed life and was always a great support for her family.

Sheryl is survived by her husband, Erv; children, Craig (Linda) Gering, E. Jay (Tiffany) Gering, & Eric (Lisa) Gering; her brother, Robert Zwieg of Oak Island, NC; grandchildren & great- grandchild, Ashley, Jordan, Dustin, Taylor, Meagan, Kyle, Logan, Araya; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by; her parents; her mother & father-in-law; brother, Lee; aunts & uncles.

Memorials may be directed to the Mayville American Legion Post #69.
