Bonnie Jo Lieberth (Gardner) - Class Of 1948

— Bonnie Jo Gardner, age 90, from McCook, Neb., passed peacefully on May 20, 2020, from natural causes. She married her loving, life partner and high school sweetheart, retired U.S. Army Colonel Jack Junior Gardner. They were happily married for 67 years. As an Army spouse of 31 years, she traveled the world: living in Germany, Brazil, and Panama before retiring to Fort Walton Beach, Florida in 1977. Bonnie was classy, sincere, radiant and a loving inspiration to all! She greeted all with a warm, welcoming smile. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Jack Junior Gardner; her son, Scott Franklin Gardner; and her granddaughter, Marie Beverly Gardner. She is survived by her son, Mark Gardner; and her grandson, James Gardner. Her burial will be open to the public and she will be buried alongside her husband and her son on June 10, 2020, at 10 a.m., at Beal Memorial Cemetery, 316 NW Beal Pkwy, Fort Walton Beach, Florida 32548.
