MCFARLAND - Alyson Irene “Aly” Wolff, age 20, of McFarland, became an angel after passing away peacefully on Monday, April 22, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Dec. 11, 1992, in Madison, the daughter of Russell and Sheila (Seffrood) Wolff. Aly graduated from McFarland High School in 2011 and attended UW-Oshkosh, majoring in accounting. She was passionate about God, family, and charity. Aly enjoyed watching Wisconsin sports, concerts, country music, and Justin Bieber. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at the lake or snowmobiling. Aly was so happy just being with her friends, either at the shed, watching movies, or just hanging out eating pizza. She touched thousands of lives through social media during the #BiebsMeetAly campaign. Aly inspired others by demonstrating a positive outlook, courage, and strength. She didn’t lose the fight against cancer, she ignited the war.

She is survived by her parents, Russell and Sheila; brother, Joshua; sister, Tanya and her husband, Ben Brake; sister, Shelly; and she was a loving aunt to Arion, Tristan, and Peyton. She is further survived by maternal grandmother, Edith Seffrood; paternal grandmother, Sonja Wolff; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Ralph Seffrood; paternal grandfather, Edward R. Wolff Sr.; and uncles, Jerry Seffrood and Rick Wolff.

Funeral services will be held at MCFARLAND LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5529 Marsh Road, McFarland, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013, with Pastor Timothy Dean presiding. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Warren, Ill., at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2013. Visitation will be held at the church from 3:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013. Memorials may be made to Aly’s Honky Tonk Hustle for a Cure.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to friends and family for showing her their love and support during her hardest days, as well as the doctors and nurses who fought alongside her.

We love you Aly, and will always carry you in our hearts. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
