In July 2023, we Celebrated 50 years with a very enjoyable reunion.

Tours of both (East and West) Campus happened, along with a casual buffet dinner, informal golf at a local course and plenty of time to catch up with classmates during our main event on July 22, 2023.

As you can see in the photos below (official & silly) of ONLY! the 71 classmates who were there, they, along with many spouses and partners traveled in from other parts of the country for the two-day event.

We all had a wonderful time together, re-kindling friendships.

IMPORTANT NOTES and ACTION ITEMS for you:

As mentioned above, our 50th Reunion has come and gone, so buying reunion tickets is, of course, no longer possible, but please keep your BIO and contact info current (see below).

We'd also like a CURRENT HEADSHOT of you, aka your 'profile photo', that must be emailed to Don (mchs1973dr@gmail.com) so it can be added to your ReunionDB record. Only a handful of '73 classmates have provided these current profile photos so far. When our Memory Book is completed, ONLY those with a bio and/or a profile photo will appear within the pages.

Bottom line: We'd really like to see more of your smiling 70-year-old faces! 

Speaking of our long awaited DIGITAL Memory Book, it will be sent to all '73 classmates this summer (2025) as a PDF, via an email link (so please keep your contact info on ReunionDB current!). We'd also like your current cell phone number in your record, so we can contact you via text related to future events & updates.

You'll be able to view the Memory Book online or download it to your own computer like any other PDF file. The Memory Book is loaded with photos and other memories from our days at MCHS in the 1970's, reunions along the way, and many photos taken and submitted by our 2023 50th reunion attendees.

So, beyond what you're seeing here on 1973warriors.net, our secondary, more current 1973 classmate database resides at ReunionDB.com. 

Every 1973 classmate has a record there.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way currently for all three sites to share data.

Please take the time to follow these steps to login to ReunionDB and update your bio and profile / contact information:

1. Visit this website: reuniondb.com The site is configured to work with various browsers.

2. Depending on what browser you use, click one of the GREEN buttons (on that site, not below)...

... until you see "Find your classmate record" Then, locate your record by your name. As you're looking, you'll likely see ReunionDB classmates listed from other schools with the same name as you.

ReunionDB is used by thousands of other high schools. It's a great company. That's why we chose them to be our partners in our big 50th reunion effort!

3. Find your name at MCHENRY COMMUNITY, click on your record and then follow the prompts.

4. (Most important!) Once your record appears, CLICK ON YOUR OWN YEARBOOK PHOTO (your face) and complete your bio, including your OCCUPATION (40 characters), Family (80 characters), Interests (80 characters) and Bio/Memorable Life Experiences (600 characters / 10 lines). All that info will appear in our digital Memory Book.

 

This site, hosted on Class Creator, was established through the dedicated mchenryalumni.com website project by Gwen Reinbolt Corey ('70). Her class generously established an opportunity for all MCHS graduating classes to have a website.

Unlike a number of COMMERCIAL (you have to pay!) websites like Classmates.com, AlumniClass.com and others, 1973warriors.net (where you are right now) is totally FREE to you!

If you're happy with one of those others, we're happy for you. However, data you enter there will not be shared here, on our OFFICIAL '73 website. This is, frankly, the place to be!

Yet another reason to interact here: NONE of your data will be shared from this or our ReunionDB PRIVATE sites, once you've been authenticated and have logged in as one of our '73 classmates.

You'll not see any annoying advertising either. If you do, please let Don know!
