Heather died in a car accident on the GW Parkway in May of 1984. She was working on Capitol Hill at that time. She lit up my world in High School and beyond. She was always welcoming every time I would come home for a visit. I was home after finishing grad school when her brother, Marc, called to tell me of her death. I cried my eyes out at her funeral. She was too young and beautiful with a life full of promise to have been taken so soon. I think about her often and cherish the memories our dear friendship.
Heather was one of my BESTEST friends in high school. We had a blast on our fieldtrip to New York City our junior year for Fashion class. We also went to ALOT of church organized dances. She even personally knew Donny Osmond, which at the time made here seem like a goddess to me. She was SSSOOO beautiful, both inside and out. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. I still think about her alot and I'll miss her forever.
