The really tall guy with the mustache and the really short blond girl on the hill. Jeff, my body guard (sort of) as we joked and my friend. I remember when we were headed to the beach and you hated the bridge so bad we pulled over and you got in the back of the truck in the camper shell until we drove over. Then we pulled over after the bridge and you took over driving like it was nothing. I remember another time after a party at my house that my dad went out the next morning to wake up all those parked in cars, sleeping, in the yard. He came back in looking kinda white saying he wasn't knocking on the camper truck because "those guys are really big". So I went out and woke you up myself and you came in for coffee and pancakes. You thought that was so funny! You inspired me to be myself. You inspired me to take a few more minutes to appreciate nature and life and smiling. I'll miss you always and I know you are smiling now from the beautiful heavens. Always, Carol Proctor King
Ah, Jeff, I know exactly where you are -- remember, we shared the same dream? You were a gentle soul, and I still have a picture of you with your pet duckling following in your footsteps....
