Christy Leonard was with us for a short time at NE based on some of our other classmates memory. We think she left her Senior Year to attend Page High school. She will be missed by many.......

STONEVILLE — Angela Christy Leonard, 37, formerly of Greensboro, died Monday, January 26, 2009, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Macon, Ga.

A memorial service for Christy will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday February 7, at Camp Herman Baptist Church, with Rev. Richard Nunn officiating.

A Guilford County native, Christy was born on April 7, 1971, the daughter of Jimmy Lee Leonard, Sr. and Janice Canfield Leonard.

Surviving are her father, Jimmy Lee Leonard, Sr. and his wife, Debbie Lynn, of Stoneville; mother, Janice Canfield Leonard of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; brother, Jimmy Lee Leonard, Jr. of Stoneville; step-sisters, Susan Marie Hayes and Betty Jeanette Jones, both of McLeansville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
