It was with a mixture of great sadness and joy that I heard from Anthony that James had passed away on Tuesday 15 March at around 17h00. Sadness for losing an uncle I greatly admired and respected - but great joy having witnessed him giving his life to Jesus two years ago.

Over the past couple of years I have seen a magnificent transformation in James. At first he agonised over unresolved issues in his past, but as the reality of God's grace grew in him he became more and more Christ like. I salute a man of great courage and integrity who had a huge impact on my life.
