Robert Everett Roubideaux of Alvarado, Texas was promoted to glory on August 4, 2020. He was born October 8, 1942 to Everett & Madge (Whiting) Roubideaux in Lawrence, Kansas, and lived in McPherson, KS throughout his school years; then attended Kansas State University & graduated from Emporia State University, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. He married Karin Alexander-Brigman on January 22, 1988.
Robert is survived by his wife Karin, son Chris Roubideaux of Clearwater, Kansas, step-sons Brent (Michelle) Brigman of Mansfield, TX, Brady Brigman of Kingman, KS, granddaughters, Brenna Brigman and Paige Roubideaux, grandsons, Beau Roubideaux, Braden Brigman, Jaden Brigman & Jordan Brigman.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Ina James, Georgia Guggisberg and brother, William Roubideaux.

Robert was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, KS and attended church at First Methodist Church, Mansfield, TX. He was a Master Gardener & Master Naturalist in Hutchinson and a past member of APICS in Wichita. His work history included Cessna/Eaton of Hutchinson and owner Blue Thunder Enterprises, rentals & renovations.
Robert was a student of ancestry and had traced French ancestors back to the 1600’s; also a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, South Dakota.

A memorial celebration will be Saturday, Aug 8, 10 am at Mansfield Funeral Home (1556 Heritage Pkwy, Mansfield, TX) LiveStream services will be broadcast by MansfieldFuneralHome.com

Hi Karen, cant remember you, as I was gone and only home on weekends.  Be strong and you are in my prayers.

I am so very sorry about this....I was hoping to see in one of these days.  My biggest memory was a wonderful date to the prom.  I cant remember if I was a junior or senior.  I went my high school year to Mt. Carmel Academy, and was home that weekend.  As I recall we double dated with Susan and Dave wagner.
