Mr. Joseph Bernard Briggs Jr., 27, departed this life Sunday, September 23, 2007.

A native of Alamance County, and a 1998 graduate of Eastern Alamance High School, he was the son of Mr. Joseph “Jim” Briggs Sr. and Mrs. Ada Briggs, who both survive.

Survivors other than his parents include one daughter, Kameron Briggs; his fiancee, Latoya Kidd; one sister, Tammy Renee Briggs; one brother, Bradley Briggs; maternal grandmother, Daisy Sellars; two nieces, Temple Briggs and Randi Walker; cousin and best friend, Darris Sellars; and a host of other family and friends.
