Stephen Heilig

Stephen Heilig, of New Cumberland and formerly of Dallas TX died friday, March 13, 2009 in Watts Twp., Perry County, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.  He was an asst. mgr. for Giant Foods, Enola, a graduate of Johnson and Wales College, Providence RI, and a 1979 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, a former vice president of operations for Clemens Market, Philadelphia, and a former director of culinary operations of H.E.B., Dallas TX, a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Dallas TX, Knights of Columbus, Dallas TX, and he was an avid golfer and loved cooking.  He is survived by his mother, a brother, and two sisters.

Oh my gosh Steve. I wish I would have stayed in touch. So many of my buddies from high school have gone and I never stayed in touch. I am so sorry for that. I will try to do better in the future with the rest of my class mates.

Steve...wow...just found out...long time but I know youre at peace...from the minibike burning up...to stick ball and street hockey in the neighborhood...to trapping whatever we trapped, mostly nothing...and borrowing beer at an early age from the _--__ _--__ lodge...hmmm...to the bon fire at the fort with brian and zack and others...great times...Rest in peace my friend....mark
