Sadly, this is what a news article (dated April 8, 1984) says regarding Deborah Rudy's passing: "A 28-year-old Hampden Twp. woman died early yesterday in a blaze that destroyed the single-story frame cottage where she lived. Deborah L. Rudy was alone in the residence when the fire broke out shortly after 4 a.m. Rudy's two children were staying elsewhere." So sad to lose our classmates.
