We were best friends as close as sisters. Even the teachers had trouble mixing us up all the time. We were so close, two best friends dating two best friends. We had so much fun in the colorguard, sizzling-hot band camps, football games, going to Dino's (?) pizza postgame, hundreds of sleepovers, 2 am trips to Duncan Donuts, Sr. skip day when "Goch" put the car in reverse on the highway and skinny dipping in her pool....I could go on forever. We stayed in touch and I visited her in New York. She developed an "East Cost" New Yorker accent and I had a bit of a southern twag so it was interesting to chat on the phone. We sent Christmas cards to each other and hers was the one card that I looked forward to the most until the cards stopped comming.....Lee, I miss you so much!
