This is very sad, I am so sorry to hear of his passing.  He loved everyone, and was so kind and empathetic, a true friend.  I remember his indefatigable spirit and that infectious giggle.  I remember he was always willing to join any antics and tricks, but he had a very strong moral compass, never wanting anyones feelings to get hurt.  He had some very interesting relationships with teachers!  I was so hoping that he would be able to reconnect with some of us again.  I am sure everyone has a David Kelly story.  I remember him at the games and pep rallies, once jumping around in the audience on that big crab soccer ball!  You can see the light in his eyes in his obituary picture, still mirthful and mischeivous.  We will miss you, dear friend.  Rest in Peace.
