Gloria was one of my closest friends but as it happens so often we lost contact with each other. I just found out a few minutes ago that she has died. I am in shock and wondering what happened to her. This has saddened me greatly because Gloria was a good person, friend, and sister. I will miss her. Gloria was one of the ones that many people made fun of and avoided. I wish all of you could have known her the way I did...you should be so lucky. Gloria was a loving, caring and intelligent woman. She was loyal to her friends, dependable and caring. The last time I talked to her she was going back to school to become a nurse...I hope she succeeded, she would have been a excellent nurse. Please if anyone knows what happened to her please let me know. If I find out anything I will post it here. Please say a prayer for her...may she rest in peace.
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Gloria, the last time I seen her was at our last class reunion. We had such a wonderful time and I was looking forward to seeing her again. I agree with you that she was a very kind and caring individual. Please let me know what you find out regarding her passing. Living in Florida it seems you don't hear about these things until it's to late. My prayers are with her and may she rest in peace.
Tried to do some additional research on this, but only found her obituary in the Carlisle Sentinel:

I have spoken to her brother, Bill. Gloria had Diabetes and suffered from a stroke a year before her death which left her in a vegetative state for the year. She suffered a second stroke which took her life. Rest in Peace my dear friend...Gloria.
I also remember Gloria as a wonderful friend. Brenda, Gloria and myself grew up in good old Churchtown. (Allen). We had many sleep overs and spent lots of time with each other. I just found out she had passed. My prayers go out to her family.
