Wendy Lowe Stoltenburg

I just graduated from Southern Oregon University (after a long delay) and received my Bachelor's of Science in Human Services with a minor in Psychology. My passion is in mental health and I am currently working with developmentally challenged adults. I also volunteer at the local domestic violence shelter, as well as the local veterans administration facility. I really like people and find working one-on-one with them very rewarding.

If I wrote everything down that I have actually experienced in life, I know people would view it as a work of fiction; however, it is all too true and it cannot be taken out of context for it to be understood--nor can I provide a condensed version here in this format. So, that being said, suffice it to say I've been to hell and back and liked the trip so much, I made it again a couple more times.

How or why I'm still alive is anybody's guess--I know more than several professionals who still shake their heads in disbelief that I defied the odds. I am truly grateful to be here writing this now and look forward to the "golden years" spoiling the hell out of my deliciously adorable grandson for another 53 years!!
