Denise Ratcliff Anderson

Denise Ratcliff Anderson passed away at home, with her loving family by her side, on July 4th,2015.

She had fought a courageous 6 year battle with cancer.
Denise was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 and made a full recovery in 2011. Shortly after, she was diagnosed with a rare form of stomach cancer (sickle cell).

Denise was born June 17th, 1962 in Grangeville, Idaho to Jesse and Sandra Ratcliff. 
Denise attended Medford schools grades k-12.
She graduated in 1980 from Medford senior high.
In 1983, She graduated from Western Oregon University with a 2 year certificate in American Sign Language.
She then worked for ESD, as sign language interpreter, for hearing impaired children in schools throughout the Rogue Valley. Including, Grants Pass High School and Lincoln Elementary.
In 2014, she medically retired from ESD, after 31 years.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Ashley, Chloe, and Halle Anderson; The father of her daughters, Craig Anderson; her parents, Jesse and Sandra Ratcliff; her two siblings, Denis Ratcliff and Debbie Georgeon, as well as, her 2 year old grandson, Aubrey jr. Anderson-Elsasser.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 18th, 2015 at the Hull and Hull funeral Home, in Grant Pass, Oregon.
In addition, Denise's daughters will be having a separate Celebration of life for her at a later date.
