From Susie's granddaughter on Facebook:

I am so blessed to have had such a amazing grandmother, we called her Coopie!
She made us laugh so hard our belly hurt, embarrassed us till we all turned red in the face, she gave me the love I have for music with her upbeat singing, she loved a parade, she never met a stranger, she never had hate in her heart, she gave the best tea party’s, she did our hair so tight we had slanted eyes, she also made THE best chocolate chip cookies on this earth, she loved the smell of bleach/how well it cleaned, she was always doing laundry, she always loved to call you just to say “I love you”, she FaceTime us a lot just to see our faces, she always made me feel special every time I came to see her by a treat or gift, she always loved to host dinner, lunch, breakfast, brunch -any excuse to make a meal for people, she took care of everyone, made you feel so loved just by a hug, she taught me to treat others the way you would want to be treated, to always have a kind heart, bring a glass of water to someone hot outside is the most generous thing you could do and I pray she is with Jesus smiling at us. I loved my Coopie so much.
She will be missed by so many, especially me😪💔

We visited Susie about a month ago in a Retirement Home in Broomall, PA . Spent about an hour going down memory lane and catching up. She suffered a major stroke but we still saw a sparkle in her eyes and I'll remember her smile always. We laughed throughout the visit and were shocked that she passed so quickly. I'm truly glad we have those last memories.

Prayers go out to her Family and Friends for strength and healing.

Susie is suffering no longer -- she's Home With Our Maker.

God Bless all at this most difficult time.

When I think of Susie I see her smile, what a grand greeting it has always been from a grand, grand girl. May God bless and comfort her family and all her friends, and classmates.

Dear Susie:  smiley   Everyone who thinks of you remembers your smile.  It was contageous.  It brightened so many days for all of us.   i heard a saying once, that always reminds me of you.  "Some days you just have to create your own sunshine."   You did an awesome job of that.  Thank you for bringing smiles, joy, laughter, friendship, sunshine and love into our lives.

Rest in peace knowing you brought happiness and goodness into the world wherever you were.

xxooxx    Eddie

Susie was the tallest and I was the shortest on the cheerleading squad - lots of memories walking with her up State Street and getting laughs. Later years looked forward to bumping into her at Media Acme. Susie will be missed.
