I think I have always loved you. We were kids but still the times that we shared edpevially at the pool during the summer of 71 were magical for me and I hated when those times ended when yout mom drove up in her Peugeot to pick you up. Nothing more to say. This life seems sometimes to be a fucking bitch.
Wendy I am so sad to learn you've passed. Prayers for your family in your loss ?? Yes I had a big crush on you back in '73? Such a lovely girl with a sensitive caring warm disposition? Such a warm heart? Happy we reconnected at the 35th! Wish you could be here still?? Yes Joe she was so easy to love?? RIP lovely Wendy.
We shared many experiences together and I cherish those fun times. One summer , while sitting around the pool at Hidden Hollow, you, Diane Hoffmann, Patty Flairty and myself decided to start our own donut business! We called it DAFFs Donuts (D=Diane, A= Aderman, F= Fradley, F= Flairty) and we would go around our different neighborhoods taking orders ( after some taste testing!) and then deliver fresh baked donuts the next day. I think we were even profitable!!
Then after graduation we spent the summer together working and beaching it in Avalon, NJ. You and Cynthia Palmer worked at a pancake restaurant and my cousin and I worked at Reo's Italian Restaurant. During the day we would have fun in the dunes and at the beach and at night we would dance away at Phil's Rockroom.
We then reconnected at a Penncrest reunion ( 35th maybe?) and shared some giggles and memories and caught up on our family lives. You were a dear friend Wendy, may you Rest In Peace 💖🙏🏼
