ANNOUNCEMENTS
Jim Culbertson has had some health setbacks this month and we wanted to update you. Here is today's Facebook repost from Jim Culbertson's sister, Mary Lynn Culbertson Brown:
"My brother Jim only has about 6 or so weeks left before he gets to be with our parents again. That's the silver lining I came up for him and I try to always find a silver lining in every tragedy. Jim getting bombarded with a ridiculous amount of potential fatal health issues all in 6 days is enough to kill 3 people and he got them all; current multiple strokes, post open heart surgery (2017), Pancreatic Cancer, Liver Cancer & now in his lymph nodes it's spreading fast now. I told his Oncologist no need to do anymore testing or have any Chemo or Radiation I want him to just do what he wants if I can make it happen I will and keep him as comfortable and as pain free as possible to the end. You Penncrest BB Players might remember our Dad worked with Jim since he played in HS & college BB himself and that's how he got so good and because he was the shortest by a mile he had to be fast and accurate and that he was! Great Memories! Anyway, Jim & Dad had the BEST relationship so I made a decision today at the cemetery instead of Jim's urn going in my plot that I said we could share mine, I asked about my Dad's and could Jim go in his and YES HE CAN I told him and he just cried I had to ask if those were happy tears and he said YES! Whew! He said he wanted you all to know he loves you but right now he thinks that anymore than who calls him already is about all he can do so...please send cards & letters to my home address I'm here until next Wed and weekly for a couple weeks or so then he's going to go into hospice in Virginia Beach where I live so I can be with him every day. Until then I'll bring them to give him weekly. It's also listed on PHS69 site. Many thanks all of you, you really mean so much to Jim Those of you that have called Jim please continue he enjoys hearing from you".
Cards and letters can be sent here:
