
Jim passed away early Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Medina Memorial Hospital, following a long illness. Jim was born in Connecticut, June 17, 1952, the son of the late Lester C. and Eleanor (Karcz) Baldwin. A graduate of Medina High School, Class of 1970, he was the Drum Major of the Medina Mustang Band. In his early years, he enjoyed playing softball for Case's Paint & Wallpaper, coaching woman's softball and fishing. He also liked watching the Buffalo Bills and Sabres and was an avid New York Yankees' fan. He had many dear friends at the Long Term Care Unit at Medina Memorial Hospital. Jim was employed by the Ferri family at Bells IGA, as an assistant store manager, for many years. Survivors include his two sons, Zachary J. and Alexander L. Baldwin, both of Medina; his sister, Judy (Wayne) Hellert of Westerly, RI; mother of his sons, Virginia Baldwin; his mother-in-law, Lucretia Fraczak; sisters-in-law, Cindy (Tom) Hewitt, Chris (Mike) Biernacki, Clara (Howard) Lake; brother-in-law, Andy Fraczak, all of Medina; several nieces and nephews, including Ryan (Lorie) Hellert and Renee Hellert. Mass of Christian Buriual was held at the Sacred Heart Church and Interment was at the Boxwood Cemetery, Medina.
