Deceased October 9, 1999.  In 2005, Mike's wife told us that he had graduated from Syracuse University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in 1974.  He worked primarily for the Mead Corporation throughout his career.  He worked in Pulaski, NY (74-88); South Lee, MA (88-92, residing in Pittsfield); and Chillicothe, OH (92-99 residing in Circleville).  Mike married in 1976 and was blessed with two sons.  Philip was 22 in 2005 and was applying for Ph.D programs in organic chemistry.  Philip was also a piano performance minor and lived two separate years in Germany.  Mike's other son, Eric, was a high school senior in 2005 hoping to study Mechanical Engineering, but enjoying all the other engineering genres as well.  Eric, too, is very musical - plays several instruments, sings, and dances.  Both boys would agree that some of their happiest moments were on the golf course with their father, as they both inherited his ability in that sport.  Mike was a devoted father, preferrring time with his boys to almost any other activity.  He was active in Church, paper organizations, and scouting.  At the time of his death, he was the Cubmaster of a Cub Scout Pack.
