Arthur J. Washak Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Arthur J. Washak (Medina, New York), who passed away at the age of 76, on October 15, 2023. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Arthur J. Washak to show support.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Chester Waszak and Marion Waszak; his sister Marjorie; and his niece Wendy Washak-Kimber. He is survived by : his wife Amy; his brother Ronald Washak (Vicki); his children, Kimberly Albone (Kurt Rosentreter), Kristen Kuch (Dave), Andrew Washak and Kari Root (Joseph); his grandchildren, Mallory, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, Brittney, Edwin, Mackenzie, Barrett and Owen; and his great grandchildren, Edwin and Emilia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 20th 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (215 W Center St, Medina, NY 14103). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 20th 2023 at 5:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus (418 Main St, Medina, NY 14103).

This one is a really tough one. Archie was a childhood friend, fellow Vietnam Vet, and longtime acquantance. I'll miss seeing you on my trips to Medina. Medina has lost a treasure....

It is said that our parents were the greatest generation,guys like Archie were the greatest of our generation. So glad to know Archie as a friend and classmate.RIP my friend.
