Boy does 1978 ever seem like a long time ago eh? I planned to farm which I did for about 10 yrs, mixed with a little insurance sales, seed farm labor, and just generally helping ( for pay when possible)!!! Started apprenticing for Electrician in 1991 on a number of different large projects starting in Kelona but mostly around here. Worked for Miller Electric about 8-10 yrs, but when Jack decided to move I started out on my own. Now operating Rockridge Electric and going crazy, even had 2 men working for me this summer and still a long way behind.
I married Sandra Turnbull in 1982 (She is from Ontario) and our family came along in the order you see else where on this page. Our oldest Reuben is now working in Ontario on a farm, Quentin has taken preemployment for heavy duty mechanic, Jory is just beginning an apprenticeship as a carpenter, and Juanita is in grade 11 this year. Sandi keeps busy painting house interiors.
It sure was great seeing everyone at the reunion and look forward to at least occasional updates on this site.
