Larry Cipywnyk - July 26, 1959 - November 22, 1995

From High School, Larry went to SIAST in Moose Jaw and graduated as a computer lab technician.  He moved to Calgary to work for SAIT.  Larry was very Entrepreneural.  He opened a very successful computer repair business, "Gator" which specialized in providing warranty repair service. 

Larry was adventurous and embraced learning new activities.  He met his sweetheart Barb while taking downhill skiing lessons.  He and Barb were married on October 13, 1988.  In 1989, his first son John Larry was born.  His second son Joseph Peter was born in 1991.

Larry was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 1993.  He fought a hard and courageous battle, having two surgeries and chemotherapy.  The toughest part for him was knowing that he'd never see his children grow up if he lost the battle. 

He died in November 1995.  Larry was predeased by his Mother in 1991, who also died from a brain tumor.  Larry loved his work and his family.  He is greatly missed.
