Jennifer - Are you taking some kind of miracle drug for memory? I can't believe the stuff you remember. All those names from grade school bring back so many memories.

Jeneine Elkins (Ballard)

Chris thank you, you always were the "LADY'S MAN". Good to know someone with connections.

Jennifer doesn't have a good memory, she is just rereading all her old diaries. You should see her key chain with all those tiny keys.

I have no clue how I remembered her last name! Can ya'll remember all the teachers we had at Mead? Remember Mrs. Towler in 4th grade and how her husband who flew either a plane of heilcopter would fly over our school? How about Chili MashedPotatoes?

Well, well. These are where the happenings are. You crazy kids..... Looks and sounds like fun times were had at Boomers. I loved the beer in honor of Jerry and Rene; well deserved. I just wanted to jump in about Jennifer's memory. It is freaky. It saddens me that her first experience of straight alcohol was at my house and I don't even remember the party. I'd like to say that the kids have sucked my memory away, but most of know that would be a lie.

Dennis I took your advice and Peter Griffin was all for it. So looks like I will be seeing you on the inside.

Amy remembered that party after I sent her some private reminders.

Tom, Mrs Towler was my favorite. She participated with crazy dress up day and stuff like that. I remember she also ate a chocolate covered grasshopper caught on the playground. Here is info about her retirement. We all thought her husband was gorgeous and he still is nice looking - even old. :)

I remember making those choc. covered grasshoppers. Didn't we just get some grasshoppers and put them in chocolate milk? haha. I think Mrs. Towler cut my brother's hair. I remember Mrs. Bibb. I also remember Mr. Adams with the sweaty armpits!!! Gross. That is so weird that you had Brett's kid in your class Laud. I think you also taught my nephew.

Thanks Dennis I lost my customer!!!!!!! I think those butt cheeks need another smack!!!! hahahahahaha Mark Puente is a reporter for some newspaper in Ohio.

Terry - I remember the chocolate grasshoppers. I took her a bowl and remember her laughing. Do you remember going to Greenfield Village (I think 2nd grade Mrs. Backlarz) and Tom Romanek having to sit in front of the class with the Dunce hat on?

10/04/08 09:55 AM #238

Tom Romanek

Now thats funny! I don't remember the Dunce hat but I have know doubt it happened lol. More names that popped into my head are Tommy Sullins and Robert Eagle. I also remember the Archer twins would cry every time we had a thunderstorm.

Rachelle I came to Mead in the 3rd grade. I went to Evans. You guys remember Maria Knapp? If you guys seen Frank Rogers, you would be amazed that he looks the same. Those pics are neat Jen. Remember I use to cry all the time when I first went to Mead? I always wanted my mom.

Yeah Terry, I remember when you cried every day. I was going to say its a good thing you were hidden behind Frankie because you were probably crying anyway. I thought that would be too mean. haha. I remember once the teacher had to have your brother come to the room.

My brother would get so mad at me. Then he kept on walking by my classroom checking on me.

Lesley Barton (Zielinski)

wow, I feel so deprived having gone to Evans....although only for 6th grade. I moved here from Iowa. I had a mad crush on Jerry Massey in 6th grade...LOL....I remember some silly stuff. I just remember Laurie Weiss, Suzie D., Tonia Speer, Connie Roth, Christa Russell, Tammy ?, Jerry, Don Baumdrauer, Matt Lebo, and Rodney Smith....then going to Strong and being like "where the heck did all these other kids in 7th grade come from?" I have a couple pics from 6th grade camp. I need to get to my moms and see what pics she is holding out on me.

It's been many years since I looked through my big box of old pictures but I'll see what I can dig from the days at Mead and post them. Last time I seen Todd Patterson he was bouncing at the State Theater downtown. This must have been 15+ yrs ago.

Hey Jen email Brad back and tell him I know his cousin Lisa. She lives in South Lyon now but she use to live in Allen Park. I seen her at a mutual friend's house a few weeks back and we were talking about last names, she told me her maiden name and I told her I went to school with a Brad Fekete. She almost flipped out. Small world.

Friends,
I am sorry to inform you all that I just received the word that I will be headed back to IRAQ this Winter. With that I need to go to a planning conference in November and will be unable to make the reuion. This really suck, but trust me it sucks even more for Stefanie and kids. My two older ones know what is going on over there. I wish everyone the best and maybe I'll see everyone at the 25th class reuion if there is one. Again I'm sorry and hope all have a great time. We are still plannig to move back to Michigan once I retire in June of 2010. If I come back for vacation, before I move back, I'll let you all know, and maybe we could grab a beer, first rounds on me.

Jerry

Hey Jerry,

Sorry to hear about your recent orders and that you wont be able to attend the reunion. When I am boohooing about my job, I will remember how I think your job sucks worse. :) Where is your wife from? Does she have any family nearby?

Good luck to you. Stay safe. 2010 isnt too far away. Maybe our class can follow the lead of the class of '87 and have ourselves a 40th birthday party in 2010.

Hey Jen,

Some of you old geezers will be 41 in 2010.

Just wanted to remind you.
