...'Nita Bell, Willie McGhee, "B.J." Worthy," Nellie Hampton Powell, Sherron Brown, J.W. Brown, Mary "Spooky" Harris Cummings, Alma Purnell Powell, Jo Ann Thompson, Allen Ferguson...and many others -- turned the clock of time back to 1964 -- and "line danced, sock-hopped and cha-cha'd" across the floor." Met old friends, renewed old acquaintances, traded life's stories and shared the love of Warriors '64.

Heritage Tour Itinerary:
* Alma Mater ~ BTW
* Slave Haven Underground Railroad Museum
*Stax Museum of American Soul Music
Two motor coach loads of Warriors '64 and guests --
...Beautiful day of camaraderie and fun that neither the rain nor the clouds could dampen. Slave Haven Underground Railroad Museum: A history lesson that provided more insight into the "peculiar institution" of slavery -- right here in Memphis -- and the anti-slavery sympathizers like Jacob Burkle (original owner of the Burkle Estate), who helped fleeing slaves along the Underground Railroad, find their way to the Mississippi River and north to freedom.
...Stax Musuem: What can we say? A trip to the recording studio that catapulted Memphis to the "big time" with familiar Stax artists like Isaac Hayes, Johnny Taylor, Rufus Thomas, Carla Thomas, David Porter, Sam & Dave...and more. Memorabilia and film brought the memories of the Stax heyday to life!
...Stroll through the halls of BTW: Tour of the School
Pictures, trophy case gawking, "tales of the 'hood' (including a few lies), memories, memories, memories!
...Then, it's a Dutch Treat at Chow Time Buffet: Neckbones, Catfish, Turnip Greens, Yams, Shrimp...you name it -- we saw it on the plates of Warriors '64. Fellowship extraordinaire!

...Warriors '64 and their guests came from near and far, "dressed to the nines." Keepsake mementos awarded to attendees to "mark the moments" of this past weekend.
