Hi, Everyone! I am sorry to hear the news of Horace Whitning'passing. Does anyone have information on funeral arrangement?

Iretha, I am also saddened by the tragic death of our classmate Horace. I am going to see if I can find out some information today. Robert Phifer  is also trying to get some information. I found out about his death on early Sunday morning, but I did not put it on the message forum because you have to always be careful that you have the correct information concerning someone's death. My cousins friend was married to his ex- wife , so I will see what information she has today. If anyone else has some information I am sure they will share it with the class.

Hi, Audrey! Thanks for responding  to my inquisitiveness. It's so like you to be concern about people and now  especially a fallen classmate. I remember,Horace, from eight grade thru Highschool, he was always a fun loving person. And truly a ladies man! I had only seen him once since High school. He will be missed!

Like You Iretha, I have fond memories of "Horace Whiting" and his Brother Ernest(not in our class)......Horace never met a Stranger........Yes Horace death  was an Unfortunate and Tragic  event...............that should not have happen.

Classmates at the wake of our classmate, Horace Whiting, we learned of the passing of another of our fellow '' '70 Warrior" classmate, Sylvester Gant.  He passed, (according to the Commercial Appeal) on March 5th.  When we found out about Sylvester's passing, it was too late to post his arrangements because of the date we found out the information services had already taken place.

Hey class Darnell Harris and James Moten said to say hello to the class. They will be here sometime this summer. They are partying in California with other BTW grads (my cousin Tim Dancy).They will let us know the dates they will be here.They said they are enjoying and living it up at the age of 60. I hope we all can find time to have some fun and "Live It Up" as Darnell and Moten say they are.

Thanks Mickey and Susie for your kind thoughts!  We often forget or neglect to extend birthday wishes to our classmates. In the words of a renown  " class of  69  graduate ", charge it to our heads and not  to our hearts. The milestones keep coming, regardless.
