EDWARD "Eddie" RODNEY SMITH, JR., 43, passed away April 4, 2013. He was a resident of Memphis, TN and Costa Rica. He was born February 6, 1970 to Edward R. Smith and Suzanne Veerkamp of Memphis. He was a graduate of Christian Brothers High School and attended Christian Brothers University and the University of Memphis. He loved music, business travel, and his many friends. He worked as a manufacturer's representative and founded CES, Inc. in 1994. His company's website was the first Google site to receive 1 million hits in his industry. Eddie is survived by his parents, a sister, Susan Leigh Smith, a grandmother, Isabel G. Smith of Grenada, MS, a nephew, Joshua M. Smith, a stepmother, Marsha K. Smith and a stepfather, Tom Veerkamp. A memorial service will be held April 20th at Hope Presbyterian Chapel from 1-3 p.m. The family requests any memorials be sent to the Church Health Center of Memphis.
