Timothy Guenther Hoene, age 64 of Coon Rapids, passed away suddenly February 13th, 2020 with his loving wife by his side. Preceded in death by parents, John and Cosette Hoene; brothers, Joseph and John “Jack” (Judy) Hoene; sisters, Mary (Dean) Helgeson, Judith (Kevin) Milbery, and Kristine Latham; niece, Marissa Hoene; nephews, Alec, Matthew and Marcus Helgeson. Survived by his wife of 38 years, Christina; daughter, Libby (Marko Brinatte); granddaughter, Camille Brinatte; brothers, Michael (Cindy) Hoene, Robert (Barb) Hoene, and Peter (Laura) Hoene; sisters, Cosette (Jim) Hobday, Sally (Paul) Storms, and Patricia (Tom) Krause; as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends. Timothy was a 1974 graduate fo Sibley High School and majored in Business at St. Scholastica in Duluth. He was a self-made man and had his own business for over thirty years. Timothy was a life-long hunting and fishing enthusiast. He loved to deer hunt and never missed a season opener. He also loved to muskie and walleye fish with his daughter, Libby, son-in-law, Marko and granddaughter, Camille. His greatest joy was watching Cami learn how to catch walleyes. Timothy was also a life-long fan of the Minnesota Vikings and the U of MN men’s hockey team. He prided himself in his cooking skills and enjoyed sharing venison and making sure everyone got a piece of walleye at Hoene family reunions. He was one of a kind and will be deeply missed.
