Our classmate died on May 15, 2001 in Barneveld.  Below is a copy of his obituary from the Madison Capitol Times.

Hafemeister, Robert E.
BARNEVELD - Robert E.
Hafemeister, age 36, of Barneveld,
Wisconsin, died unexpectedly
on Tuesday, May 15,
2001, at Memorial Hospital of
Iowa County. Rob was born
September 14, 1964, in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin, to Raymond
and Janice (Blazer) Hafemeister.
He graduated from Menomonee
Falls East High School in 1982.
He graduated from UWMilwaukee
with a degree in geology.
He was employed by
RMT Inc. since 1987. He married
the former Marci J. Dennis
on October 5, 1991, at Bethel
Lutheran Church in Madison.
He was a member of Barneveld
Lutheran Church. He is survived
by his beloved wife,
Marci; his beloved children,
Sam, Katie and Will, all at
home; his parents, Raymond
and Janice Hafemeister of Menomonee
Falls; his sister, -Beth
Smith of Clinton; his maternal
grandmother, Florence Blazer of
Owen; his mother-in-law,
Blanche Dennis of Madison; and
many other relatives and
friends. Funeral services will be
held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday,
May 19, 2001, at BARNEVELD
LUTHERAN CHURCH, with the
Rev. Dennis O'Brien officiating.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m.
until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May
18, 2001, .at the church, and
also after noon until the time of
the services on Saturday at the
church. Ellestad Funeral Home,
Mount Horeb, is serving the
family. Hob loved his family and
will be sadly missed.
