Ryan Anthony Rutter Funeral Services for Ryan Anthony Rutter, 36, of Tallmadge, formerly of Mentor, will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday Sept. 27th, at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Ryan passed away peacefully in his residence Friday, Sept. 21, 2007. Ryan, a 1989 Mentor High School graduate and a graduate of The Ohio State University, will forever be remembered as an avid sports fan and sports card enthusiast. Founder of Wax from the Past, Ryan carried on his lifelong love in the sports card business as buyer, seller and professional sports card grader. Prior to suffering his illness in 2003, Ryan was also a leading salesman at Spitzer Chevrolet in Northfield. He will always be remembered for his remarkable courage, relentless strength and unshakable willingness to battle against all odds. What an inspiration he was! He will truly be missed and live in our hearts forever. Ryan is the beloved son of Mark and Mary Ellen (nee Petelinkar) Rossi; beloved brother of Michael; grandson of Domenic and Florence Rossi; nephew of Elaine and Tom, Richard Petelinkar; cousin of Ken (Cindy) Petelinkar, Carol (Leopold), Mary Jo (Mike), Bob (Linda), Gina, Anthony and John; cherished friend of Toni Kelly; and friend of Nicole Kelly, Mike "C" Soder, and his little "Buddy", the Toy Fox Terrier and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gus and Mary Petelinkar. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
