Brian ended up becoming a part of our family because his brother married my sister! He was a also a good friend to my brother. We all miss him and his humor greatly. I still seem him everyday when looking at his (my) niece..she looks just like him! Mary Beth
I will miss Brian.. he was such a joy to have in Homeroom! Always messing with me and making me laugh! I will always remember his smile and kind spirit full of joy and comedy! These memories that I have I will always cherish the rest of my life!
Brian was always a good guy...didnt see him much at MHS...but seemed to be in at least 2-3 classes together every year at Shore. He never let anyone get over on him with the short comments/jokes...
I was at Mentor cemetery last weekend visiting a relatives' grave, and knew Brian was there from his step-sister DeeDee. Found his gravesite and visited for a few mins...its' simple and honors his memory well.
What i was surprised to find was that he and ryan bogert are buried right next to each other...didnt really know ryan, but had heard that he had passed a while back. (came to find out they passed just about a month apart)
Kind of ironic...its not a small cemetery, and to be looking down at 2 former classmates' headstones in one glance...made for a strange wake up call...damn, we're almost 40...and how short life can be...i took pictures, as i was that taken aback...but im not sure either of their family or friends would be too keen on them being posted.

Unfortunately Brian passed away just before our 10 yr reunion in 1999. He'd had some complications with his heart that he couldn't overcome. What I remember most about him was his kind heart. Brian was always fun to be around. I think of him often and miss him dearly...
