JAMES' OBITUARY

James Trigilio, 44 of Shelbyville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was a sales manager with Skyguard Window Company.

A loving father, husband, brother, uncle, nephew and friend to very many. James, also known as JT, had a way with words and actions that influenced so many in a profoundly positive way.  James never boasted about helping or good deeds, his death has brought light from so many people on the huge impact even small interactions with him have had on their lives.

James loved his family dearly and was always adamant on making sure his family was provided for.  He was a man of many talents and skills from Russian Martial Arts, to gun safety & training, to survival skills, to roofing, windows, and siding. He was always willing to dedicate his time for others in organizations such as Trail Life, Habitat for Humanity, and Business Network groups. He was a dedicated, regular member of a weekly Men’s Bible Study group that helped influence his spiritual growth. James even ran a good race in the Spencer City Judge Executive election. He was recently employed with Skyguard Windows as a sales manager.

His children had these things to say about their father. Graceyn will miss him brushing the tangles out of her hair very gently and telling her he loves her. Winston will miss playing board games with Dad; going camping; rides to school; and saying I love you. Adelyn will miss tuck-ins at bedtime and hearing Daddy call her Princess. Nolan will miss Dad teaching him shooting skills and their conversations about sports cars. Madison shares this: He was always comforting and had the right words of wisdom to say for any situation. I’ll miss his goofy jokes, how he tried to get away with the craziest things in Scattergories, and all of the times he taught me how to get through some of the most difficult situations in life. I don’t know if he realized it or not but he passed on so much of his strength and wisdom to me because I watched everything that he did. I’ll miss our meaningful conversations on car rides. Most of all I’ll miss his hugs and him calling me princess, and I will miss the sweet look in his eyes when he looked at his family. I always knew how much he loved us because he would have done anything for our happiness and protection. He didn’t even have to say how much he loved us because his actions and the look in his eyes told it all.

We will all miss everything about him that mere words could not convey.

Our hearts are broken that he is not here to journey the rest of our lives with us. To offer sound advice, to provide hugs and encouragement when needed. But we are comforted in knowing he was welcomed into the gates of heaven, with Jesus’ loving, open arms saying, “Well done my son.”

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sally Trigilio; grandparents, Arthur J. Wiele and Selestine B.Sauer and Charles Joseph Trigilio and Connie Campisi.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Pamela Trigilio, of Shelbyville; his children, Madison, Nolan, Winston, Adelyn and Graceyn Trigilio.; his father and step-mother, Charles Trigilio (Janet) of Ohio;  brothers, Mike Dillon (Mary) and Steve Dillon (Ketrea) both of Texas; a step-sister, Jen Weisblat (Adam) of Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday August 28, 2021 at the Southeast Christian Church Shelbyville Campus in Shelbyville, KY with Denny Dillman officiating. Public visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the service time at the church on Saturday.
