Obituary

Cathy Reeder Watson, 66, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Meritus Medical Center. Born August 23, 1955 in Mercersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Warren Nelson and Romona Lee (Carbaugh) Reeder. Cathy was a 1973 graduate of James A. Buchanan High School. Her family was most important to her, and she was a devoted, loving mother and grandmother. Cathy is survived by her husband, Steven Watson, of 43 years; two daughters, Kelly Powers and husband, Kevin, and Jillian Fowler and husband, Daniel; four grandchildren, Alyssa and Ellory Fowler, and James and Ryan Powers; one brother, Jeff Reeder and wife, Gail; one sister, Carol Bradley and significant other, Mike Coons; and a multitude of loving family members. The funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Bill Divelbiss will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 2-4pm.
