Susan (Carabetta) Hicinbothem, 73, loving wife of Robert Hicinbothem Sr., passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, October 15, 2023, at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

Susan was born in Meriden, October 22, 1949, a daughter of the late Ralph Carabetta and Helen (Wnuk) Carabetta and had been a lifelong Meriden resident. She was employed as the secretary for many years at St Stanislaus School in Meriden and was later employed by the ARC of Southington and most recently, Big Y.

In addition to her husband, Bob, she is survived by her three loving children, Robert Hicinbotherm Jr. and his wife Christina, Heater Hicinbothem and Kevin Hicinbothem; two cherished grandsons Thaddeus and Grayden Hicinbotherm; and her faithful four-legged companions "Rocket" and "Tatum". She was predeceased by her brother Ralph Carabetta Jr.

Susan's family will receive relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Thursday, October 19, 2023. Interment will be private in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Meriden.
