My family moved to MI in the middle of my junior year of high school. Started off attending Cocoa High and finished my senior year with Jeff at Merritt Island High. Jeff was one of my first friends as he (and many others) hung out by the pool at Manor House Apts where my family lived. He was as much fun as anyone I ever met and to me represented the ultimate "Suffer Dude". I treasured his friendship and he made me feel welcome to a strange and new culture. We were always laughing and that is what I'll always remember. RIP Jeff. You made an impression with me and I thank you for your friendship...John O. Semon

I dated jeff, we called him Mouse!  We didn't date for that long because he dumped me for a "fast" girl named Karen.  He had a funny black car, really small.  He picked me up by the Manor House pool in the morning and drove me to school.  He hung around the rec room, that's where I met him.  RIP.

I meet Jeff at MI High and he was a surfer, which I was not. But we became friends thru that last year of high school. After graduation we shared a fondness for VW Bugs and worked on a number of them for several years. Jeff even made a year long trip to southern California for the surf and the VW culture. After his return to MI our friendship picked back up. After a few more years are paths went seperate ways. He married Sue and I lost touch with him. I sorry hear of his passing.
