Although the days on my 2022 calendar have disappeared, I find myself hanging on to the special moments of our 50th Reunion celebration of the Westwood Class of 1972. Reconnecting with so many classmates and friends has been such a highlight of this past year. Getting to know former acquaintances better has sparked friendships that I will continue to nurture. I am amazed at the people we have become, the world we have traveled, the families we have raised and the ways in which we continue to make this world a better place.

Everyone on our reunion committee would like to thank all of you who participated in making our reunion such a success and for continuing to support our connections through our Facebook page.  We hope that happy memories and cherished moments from our past will continue to make you smile.

We were Seniors then, and we are all Seniors now, but we hope the youthful exuberance of the past will fuel the hopes and dreams you continue to have for your future.  Please stay in touch!

Happy Holidays!

MORE CLASS REUNION MEMORIES AND PHOTOS

Classmate Cathy Buchanan Palmer took some fabulous photos of lots of familiar faces at our reunion events.  Please check them out by clicking on 50th REUNION PHOTOS on our Home Page and then on POST YOUR PICS, and then on CATHY BUCHANAN. You might see your smiling face in her gallery of 123 photos.

If you just can't get enough of our Reunion Memories this is your lucky day ... if you still have a DVD player!  Fifteen collectible copies of REUNION MEMORIES 1982-2012 are currently available - for FREE!  It contains not one, but TWO DVD's with Pictures and Stuff and Reunion Memories and was created by Rick Apple Productions for our 40th Reunion. If you would like to have one for your very own please email me and include your mailing address.

If you have any questions about locating these photos or want to post some of your own please contact me. I would end this by saying "Stay Cool", but I think we are all still pretty cool!  Stay well!

WESTWOOD WARRIOR CLASS OF 1972 - 50th REUNION

When we graduated from Westwood in 1972 the contents of our yearbook reflected on searching for excitement, victory, involvement, achievement, knowledge, and ourselves. Those key words still play an important role as we plan for our 50 Year Class Reunion.

Recognizing faces and remembering names will be an EXCITING challenge at our 50th Reunion. We hope you look forward to reconnecting and reminiscing.

Life itself is a VICTORY, as many of our friends and acquaintances are now deceased. Those former classmates will be remembered and honored.

Our INVOLVEMENT with families and chosen communities has evolved as we age.  Who could have imagined the impact a pandemic would have on our lives?

For those of us who have retired, careers and titles start to fade as perspective and priorities shift to new ACHIEVEMENTS on a more personal level. We hope you’ll share your new passions and pursuits.

Embrace the KNOWLEDGE that all of us have changed and none of us look exactly like our yearbook photo.  Nametags will be provided!  Please bring your own reading glasses.  For those who can’t attend we hope you will share current photos in your profile.

The goal of this reunion is to celebrate OURSELVES.  Our past blends with our present providing an opportunity to embrace the individuals we have become.  We look forward to celebrating with you and SEARCHING for your answer to the question, “Where have you been for the last 50 years?”
