"About the author

Pamela Oxendale earned her B.A. in secondary education from Arizona State and taught in northern Arizona, but not until her youngest son was in high school did she discover her love of writing. Hitting the books again, she studied online, learning the art of fiction writing. Ten years and a hundred drafts later, she entered her first manuscript in a writing contest. To her surprise, "Displaced" made it into the top ten and won a publishing contract. However, "Displaced" was only the beginning. The second book in the series, "Revealed", continued the story she had set out to tell.  She is presently working on the third book. Stay tuned.

Pamela remains in northern Arizona with her husband, living near her two grown sons and five grandsons. She is the chaplain of the Northern Arizona chapter of Word Weavers, speaks monthly at the Word Weaver meetings, serves on the women's board of Verde Baptist Church, gives cooking demonstrations, and speaks to women's groups when requested. Pamela writes to encourage, give hope, inform, and entertain."

I am so sorry to hear of Pam's passing, she was such a sweet friend and classmate.  She drifted into my mind last evening as I was going to sleep, then this morning I read "In Memory" where she hd died.  It sounds like she had a full life, I'm going to try to find her books and read them.  Rest In Peace dear Pam, until we meet again.
