Did the Legal Assistant program at El Centro for my first two years of college, worked at a law firm downtown, vaguely considered law school. Went to Lubbock for a year and drank and listened to music with Mr. Lowe (and went to school a bit). Came back and went to North Texas and stuck with English. Wrote a bit. Won an essay contest and had two stories published (published - when someone other than you decides to print what you wrote…payment optional [although I did actually get paid for one of them]). Met my wife to be in '94 in Denton, got a job at a software company in Fort Worth in '96 and have yet to leave (got hired by Southwest Airlines in ’99 but my boss intervened…that’s OK. I really like living and working in Fort Worth). My son was born ’00. He’s now brilliant, but a little lazy at times. My daughter came along in ‘05 and is, without question, the cutest child of all time, but you know what they say about looks and how they can be deceiving…well, I’m here to tell you they’re dead right. :) She’s the greatest though, except for her mom.
