My memories of Jim were very special. He was always a good kid with a big heart. When we were in the 7th grade an waiting for the bus to go home, a boy (I won't mention his name) threw my younger brother's hat in the mud. My brother told me and I told the boy to pick it up. He said he wouldn't and asked me what was I going to do about it? I told him I would punch him in the face. He laugh and said I dare you. So I did. Then he punch me back. Jim saw him hit me and lost it.Jim said how dare you hit a girl, and began to beat the crap out of him.Our bus arrived, but jim wasn't done with him yet. I felt bad because he had to walk home. I never did thank him properly. But I never have forgoten his kindness.
