In Memory

Pam Pecha

Dear Classmates,

I just saw that our fellow classmate Pam Pecha died Saturday, February 17, just shy of her 67th birthday, which would have been April 12th. We were friends but I hadn't been in touch for a while and was shocked with this news because I didn't know she'd been ill.

For those who may not have known her, she was a world-class performing oboist in the Cleveland Orchestra and solo performer who traveled all over the world.  She was a pianist and oboist in high school as well.

We've lost many classmates over the years. I have added them to the In Memory page on this site but until now have not sent you notifications as I entered each name. My apologies. I felt compelled to share this one because it just happened. She was way too young as were all the other friends we've lost. I will from here on out notify you of any others when we learn they have passed.

Life is short. I hope that all of you will join us for the reunion next year to celebrate life and reconnect with old friends.

Sincerely,

Lisa Whitman Healey

I remember Pam, fondly, from school and as a fellow band member. She was sweet and kind and very talented, even then. So sorry to hear of her passing.

So sad to see this news.  What an amazing talent and gone too soon.  I went to Pam's FB page and found that she had been hospitalized and died due to complications from a prior stroke and auto accident.  We never know.

I was surpeised to read of Pam's passing.  I last saw her at the Coral Park reunion just prior to her passing.
During that reunion we spent a little time talking and dancing and it really memorable. She was gifted and sweet and inspired me .   I know Pam was a very accomplished artist and musician and she projected that beauty from her soul   I miss her.
