Just received from the MHS Alumni Association:
IN MEMORY: It is with great sadness that we want to let you know that Mr. Richard de Aguero passed away on December 1st. "Mr D" was a MHS grad, MHS teacher, MHS Student Activities Director, Miami-Dade faculty member and was our MHSAA treasurer for many years . He touched so many lives in very significant ways. No info as to funeral or memorial arrangements is available at this time.
We wish time spent with those we love and admire could last forever…and in our hearts it will.

Richard was Miami High. His voice and laughter will forever be echoing through the halls of Miami High. Often I was apprehensive about being late to class, because Richard couldn't pass you without stopping to talk to you.He always had a smile on his face and had something to say that put a smile on your face.
He lived all of our dreams, at least mine. He never graduated and continue to go to Miami High daily even after graduating from college. You will be missed but the smile on your face will always be in my memory. Say "hi" to all the stingarees who preceded you. You all will be missed at our 60th
