Dink will always be in my heart.  He was a great Christian friend that loved the Lord.  I miss him so much, the visits to Ga., the boat rides and just his knowledge of almost anything you ask him.  He had many many laughs and tears throughout the years.  Miss you Dink

Dink and I were very close. Like brothers. Our lives and careers were very similiar. We spoke by phone 2x a week for 40 yrs. I had an airline pilot career with TWA and he with Eastern Air Lines. For sure he was a pilots pilot. HIs wife Alvida and I talk frequently for family updates. I was "crushed" when I learned of his passing. Very seldom does someone make a difference in anothers life. He made a difference in mine. He told me he would save me a seat in heaven. Even if it was the co-pilots seat !!
