Kyle Acker Obituary

MIDDLETON/OREGON-On Saturday, June 16, 2018, our Lord and Savior came to Kyle, put his arms around him and said, “Come stay with me where there will be peace.” At that moment, his struggles with addiction ended. Kyle was born to Jean and Sylvester Acker, on April 10, 1971. He was a very kind, sensitive and loving person. Kyle consistently stood up for anyone who was being unfairly treated with his quick wit and a smile to lift their spirits. He loved spending time with others, whether it be playing cards or talking about all things sports. Kyle had a great love in his heart for his two sons, Max and Sam and cherished every moment spent with them. He is survived by his sons, Max and Sam; their mother, Amy; his parents, Jean and Syl Acker; three siblings, Kevin (Theresa) Acker, Kurt (Kari) Acker and Kristine (Joseph) Jankowski; and seven nieces and five nephews. Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rosemary and Richard Herbrand and Helen and George Acker Sr. A Celebration of Life will be held at HOLY MOTHER OF CONSOLATION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 651 N. Main St., Oregon, at 11 a.m., on Thursday, June 21, 2018. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tellurian UCAN, Inc., 300 Femrite Dr., Madison, 53716, to assist others struggling with addiction. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com. Kyle, we have always loved you and you will be remembered always.
