David H. Rowe, 36, died Sunday, June 14, 2009, in Midland.

His family includes his father, Stanford Rowe of Midland; sister, Jeannine Sawvel her husband Jay and two nieces, Mackenzie and Miranda Sawvel of DeKalb, Ill.; stepsister, Tamara Kosinski of Ann Arbor; his maternal grandmother, Muriel Waskoviak of Traverse City; aunt, Bonnie Sieggreen and her husband Jerry of Traverse City; aunt, Barbara Wood of Lake of the Pines, Calif.; aunt, Nancy Lampson and her husband Dennis of Gardnerville, Nev.; and many cousins.

He was predeceased by his mother, Dineen Rowe; his stepmother, Pamela Rowe; his brother, Steven Rowe; his maternal grandfather, Raymond Waskoviak; his paternal grandparents, Katherine and Stanford Rowe; and his aunt Cynthia Venugopal. David attended Midland Schools, graduated from Midland High School, and attended Colorado Mountain College and Northwestern Michigan College. He was employed by Quebecor World in Midland. David enjoyed outdoor activities, especially four-wheeling, and treasured the years he spent living in Anchorage, Alaska and Denver, Colo.

A celebration of David’s life will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2009, from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler St. Pastor Gerald Ferguson will officiate.

David’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the All Saints Memorial Garden at Trinity Lutheran Church in Midland or the charity of their choice in David’s memory.
