Gates, Susan (Sullivan) --> Susan Sullivan Gates May 18, 2010 Susan Sullivan Gates, 51, of Cazenovia, NY, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born and raised in Midland Park, NJ, and was a graduate of Boston College. While establishing her own children's wear company, Susan Sullivan Design, she and her husband raised a beautiful family. During this time, she was an active member of the community as a mother, friend and business woman. Susan was one of the founding members of the Cazenovia Artisans, contributing a wealth of her artistic ability.
She is survived by her husband Christopher Gates; her children Talia Rooney, and Samantha, Oliver, and Joseph Gates; her parents David and Betty Sullivan of Midland Park; her grandmother Concetta Polisse of Midland Park; her siblings Marybeth Sullivan Reid of Dallas, Texas, David of Stowe, Vermont, Stephen Sullivan of Upton, Massachusetts, Maryellen Sullivan Noone of Gilford, Connecticut, Peter Sullivan of Midland Park, Maryclaire Sullivan Kraft of Tenafly, and Daniel Sullivan of Hoboken, New Jersey.
