Nancy Kay Unruh, 57 of Midland, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Midland Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 3, 1955 in Pampa, Texas to Lorene Long and the late Harold Clay Long. She was raised and educated in Midland, graduating from Midland Lee High School. Nancy married Roland Unruh on May 14, 1976. The couple resided in Midland and Nancy stayed at home to raise her two beautiful children, Leann and Trace. Nancy was a loving wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed reading, gardening and chatting with everyone. Even though she had no biological grandchildren, she had many "grandkids" who she enjoyed watching in sports and in school plays. She always enjoyed watching her two favorite football teams, the Texas A&M Aggies and the Midland Lee Rebels.
