Richard Lee Evans, 58, of Midland, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 26, 2013 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel with Rev. David Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland. Richard was born on April 10, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas to Buddy and Jeri Evans. He graduated from Lee High School in 1973 and was involved in football. After graduation he went on to Texas Tech and graduated in 1977 with his Bachelor's in Banking. Richard was hired out of college as a Federal Bank Examiner for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He retired in October of 2010 from FDIC in San Francisco. Richard was a member at the Green Tree Country Club and was an avid golfer. He traveled all over the nation playing on various golf courses.
